This is NOT a flea market, although that term is often misused to categorize the event. The focus is on complete range of antiques and collectibles from the 19th & 20th centuries. All items must be at least 20 years old and have some artistic or monetary value. This one-day summer market features quality exhibitors and is held at the park-like Sandwich Fairgrounds, with its beautiful 100-year-old trees and plenty of places to sit and rest. Located 60 miles west of Chicago just off US 34.
Hours: 8am to 4 pm, Central Time. Sunday admission is $5 per person, parking is free and food is available for purchase. The market is held rain or shine with exhibitors both inside and outside. Many of the outdoor exhibitors are under tent or some sort of cover. The market is held on the third or fourth Sunday of the month, April through October. More than 65,000 collectors attend each summer. Early buying is possible on Saturday during dealer setup (10AM - Dusk) for a fee of $30 per person – which includes a return on Sunday prior to public opening. Cash Station available. Exhibitors Furniture Delivery Service Available on Sunday.
